Patient Capital

Patient owners. Disciplined capital.

Investment activity runs through Omega Private Equity — mission-aligned capital that backs what lasts: established American businesses in essential industries.

Preservation, held for generations.

We invest the way we own — for the long term, with discipline, and without a fund’s clock.

Omega Preservation Equity is part of the Omega Private Equity family, and capital activity runs through it. The aim is straightforward: deploy patient capital into established American businesses in essential industries, preserve what makes them durable, and hold.

What we mean by patient capital

The patience is in how we own the businesses — not in how long your capital is committed.

What it means

We hold the companies we acquire for the long term and don’t force an exit on a fund’s clock. That patience is what protects the business, its people, and the community it serves — and it is what lets us preserve, then grow.

What it doesn’t mean

It is not an open-ended commitment of your capital. We structure each investment with a defined path to liquidity in mind — typically a planned recapitalization — on hold periods consistent with the broader alternative-investment marketplace.

In short: we are the patient owners, so our capital partners don’t have to be. The business stays in steady hands — while the capital that backs it follows a clear, intended timeline.

How we underwrite

Rigorous, risk-first, and grounded.

Every business is read for its downside before its upside, and every assumption is tested against the real world.

01

What we buy

Established, profitable, cash-generative businesses — founder- or family-owned, with healthy margins. We underwrite companies that are already sound, not turnarounds.

02

How we read risk

Succession and key-person risk, operational continuity, customer and supplier concentration, balance-sheet strength, input and commodity exposure, and the durability of relationships. Downside first.

03

How we build durability

Anchor assets, owned supply, and a hedging overlay where it applies — with conservative capital structures and succession-aligned terms. We don’t over-leverage what we mean to keep.

04

Managing risk through the hold

Commodity-hedging discipline, real operational engagement, and no forced-exit clock that would pressure a poor decision.

05

How we validate

Every assumption is corroborated against real data and comparable operators. Nothing is modeled on hope.
